Throughline (“Throughline,” “we,” “us”) is an AI-native operating system for sell-side mergers & acquisitions, operated by AnthropyAI, LLC and built on the Spawn platform. This policy explains what we collect, how we use and protect it, and the choices you have. It applies to throughlineplatform.com and the Throughline application.
Information we collect
- Account information — name, email, firm, and credentials of advisors and the operators they invite.
- Deal information — details you enter about an engagement (company, industry, financial ranges, interview notes, buyer lists, documents you upload).
- Connected-service data — when you authorize a connection (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero), we access the financial and accounting data needed to produce deal materials, using read-only access wherever possible.
- Usage data — log and device information used to operate, secure, and improve the service.
Financial data from connected accounting services (QuickBooks, Xero)
If you connect an accounting platform, you authorize Throughline to access financial information such as profit-and-loss statements, balances, and transaction summaries. We use this data solely to provide the service to you — for example, to draft the financial sections of a Confidential Information Memorandum or a deal analysis, with a human reviewing before anything is finalized.
- We do not sell connected-service data, use it for advertising, or share it with third parties except the service providers needed to operate Throughline.
- Access is scoped to the connecting customer’s isolated workspace and protected by row-level security.
- You may disconnect an accounting connection at any time, which revokes our access going forward.
How we use information
- To operate the Throughline workflow — readiness scoring, document generation, buyer management, data-room Q&A, and gated outreach.
- Every external action (an email, a published answer, a post) is drafted by AI and confirmed by a human before it is sent.
- To secure the service, prevent abuse, comply with law, and improve features. We do not sell personal information.
How information is stored and protected
Data is stored with our infrastructure providers (including Supabase and Vercel) and protected with encryption in transit, access controls, per-customer isolation (row-level security), and audit logging. No method of storage is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information using industry-standard safeguards.
Sharing and sub-processors
We share information only with: (a) the authorized users within your firm and the seller you represent; (b) service providers (sub-processors) who help us operate the platform — for example, cloud hosting (Vercel), database and storage (Supabase), AI model providers, and connection brokers (Composio) — each bound to use the data only to provide their service; and (c) as required by law. We do not sell your data.
Data retention and deletion
We retain data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. You may request export or deletion of your data, or disconnect a connected service, at any time by contacting privacy@anthropyai.com. On verified request we delete or de-identify your data, subject to legal retention requirements.
Your choices and rights
You may access, correct, export, or delete your information, withdraw connection authorizations, and opt out of non-essential communications. Depending on your location, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy laws; contact us to exercise them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, communicated to you.
